How our pricing compares with the Malaysian market

You should not evaluate an SEO quote in a vacuum, so here is the context agencies usually leave out.

Published retainer pricing among established Malaysian SEO agencies in 2026 runs from about RM880 per month at the budget end to RM10,000 per month at the top. The middle of the market, where most credible month-on-month campaigns live, is roughly RM2,300 to RM4,800 for a 10-to-30-keyword scope. Enterprise and high-competition work goes well past RM8,000.

Why we do not price per keyword

Most Malaysian SEO packages are sold as keyword counts: 10 keywords for one price, 30 for another, 60 for a suspiciously low third. It looks precise and comparable. It also quietly shapes the work around the metric: the agency picks winnable keywords rather than profitable ones, because their invoice depends on ranking screenshots.

Our tiers cap keyword scope (30 / 80 / 120+) but the deliverable is the campaign: technical health, content output, links earned, conversion work, and the revenue those produce together. If a keyword stops mattering to your buyers, we drop it without a contract amendment.

If you are comparing us against a per-keyword quote, ask the other agency two questions: who chooses the keywords, and what happens to the fee when a keyword ranks. The answers are usually informative.

Pricing questions, answered before the call

Is there a lock-in contract?

Yes, six months minimum, and we say it here rather than in the fine print. SEO compounds too slowly for a shorter commitment to be honest work: months 1 and 2 are audit and foundations, and the rankings that pay for the retainer usually arrive from month 3 onward. If an agency offers month-to-month SEO, ask them which month the results are scheduled for.

What do SEO services cost in Malaysia overall?

Can I upgrade or downgrade tiers mid-campaign?

Yes, at the next monthly billing cycle after a scope review. Markets change, and the scope should follow. The six-month commitment stays; the level within it can move.

Is SST included?
